"Friend" a word beyound ordinary understanding, mysterious and meaningfull! Friend is defined as a person whom one knows, likes and trusts. A person whom one is allied in a struggle or cause, a comrade. But also friend is a member of the Society of Friends (what the hell this means).So if I got the meaning of those definitions: if you like a person who you don’t trust, this person is not your friend. But if you like him/her and he/she is not a friend so what is this person to you? To get answers, the first idea that comes to mind is to searche “like”, and the definition of like is the following. A person you like is someone you find pleasant or attractive, someone you enjoy.
So you can enjoy someone you don’t trust and who can not be your friend, then what “enjoy” means?
Same dictionary (same god, yeah there is another god than google), i searched enjoy. To enjoy someone is to receive pleasure or satisfaction from, to have the use or benefit of. Pleasure, satisfaction and benefit, three central words; aren’t we all searching for someone who gives us pleasure, satisfaction and we can take benefit of. So why have friends, let’s just have enjoyable people around us.
If enjoyable people are just out there, why friends are for, and why everybody needs a friend? Is it just trust what we are all after?
